The property is a pristine area of 110,450 hectares of land, most of it dense forest. It sits on the banks of the Luangwa River and Lusemfwa rivers and has river frontage of over 85 kilometers on the Luangwa River.
It is located in Nyimba District in the eastern province of Zambia. The area in which it sits from a tourism, hunting and leisure point of view is called South Luangwa. It has various species of game with Game Ranch status and has four of the big five animals. There are no Rhinos but efforts are being made to introduce some. The property is not commercially hunted and has very generous quotas.

unmatched in Zambia and certainly in Africa and offers a very rare opportunity to own a truly one of a kind private lodge.
The Mweteshi Lodge was completed in 2017 and comprises three spacious luxury tented suits with exclusive bathrooms each offering impressive vistas from secluded viewing decks. Other facilities include an open plan lounge with dining room, bar and an infinity pool that overlooks some of the finest virgin riverside bush in the Luangwa.
The Luangwa river provides the biggest attraction in the entire ecology by providing exemplary viewing pleasure, a unique means of transport for viewing game along the river and also space for fishing lovers to spend their time fishing. There are over 37 different types of animals with four of the big five providing a unique opportunity for game viewing and hunting activities.
Land developed area, where controlled game hunting is normally permitted has a tenure of 99 years.
Initial concession terms for this establishment was 15 years with an already accepted new period of 15 years. This gives the concession a total period of 30 years. The owners applied for an extension to 60 and it was recently granted.
An annual concession fee of US$ 20,000 each year is paid to Zambia Wildlife Authority and USD 20,000 to Nyalugwe community resource board.
Lease commencement date is 5th November 2015.
Purchase includes all the furniture, equipment, silver cutlery, kitchen equipment in order to have a lodge in working order.
The main area is around 400 sqm of teak decking and includes various lounges areas with leather sofas, styled chairs, a dining area with dining table and adequate cabinets, decorations, linens, lights etc,… A bar area with seats and bar. The main area also has an infinity swimming pool (all pumps and filters are solar-powered). It also has a guest toilet. The dining and main lounge are covers by a made to measurement safari tent. The floor in the main area (and in the rooms) is wood teak flooring.
3 chalets made from top quality safari tents, including doors, and lights. The bathrooms are equipped with Hans Grohe taps and fittings. Italian style showers, self-standing bathtubs, and sinks. Hot water supplied by a solar system. The rooms are built on a teak decking of around 150 sqm each. At the front is a built-in seating area for the rooms guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a wash area, oven, deep freeze, fridge, wine cooler. Full set of cooking utensils and pots and pans and various equipment.
Power is supplied by a professional solar system supplying power 24/7 to the lodge, pool, kitchen, water system.
Water is pumped and filtered into a storage tank.
Staff quarters is separate from the guest lodge.
Another camp has been built 15 kms away for technical support (road maintenance, anti-poaching, …). It includes 5 offices.
A Land cruiser pickup, with a hunting seat, is included.
A speed boat with Mercury Engine is included.
Various banana boats.
